IGS Workshop

28 June - 2 July 2010
Newcastle upon Tyne • England

The International GNSS Service (IGS) is convening a Workshop for the GNSS community during June 28 – July 2, 2010 to focus on the application and status of current IGS operations and possibilities for future improvements. In conjunction with COST Action ES0701, the final day of the meeting will be a symposium on determining vertical rates from GNSS with application to tide gauge vertical land movement and glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA). The meeting will be hosted by the Newcastle University geodesy group in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

The programme will comprise oral presentations, posters and splinter meetings covering IGS infrastructure, data analysis, products, and applications. For further background see the programme and presentations from the 2008 Workshop. The Workshop is open to the entire community.

The meeting will be held in newly built and comfortable conference facilities at Northumbria University, a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Newcastle city. See “travel information” for directions.

We look forward to seeing you in Newcastle in June 2010!
